Amazing and interesting facts about Egypt:
- Egypt has some fantastic places to visit. The longest river Nile, the longest canal Suez, the Pyramids of Giza, Mount Sunai, Library of Alexandria, the Red Sea and many others.
- The Egyptians were very intelligent and there are many things which were invented in ancient times but we still use them. Surgical instruments, water clock, sun clock, black ink, pen and locks are some of them. Writing language was also invented by the ancient Egyptians.
- The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the seven world wonders and is the only ancient wonder that still exists. This Pyramid was made by Pharaoh Khufu. It was built in more than 20 years and it has over 2.3 million blocks of limestone. Each of this block weighs about 2.5 tonnes.
- Ancient Egyptians used to mummify their people as well as animals and birds. Millions of animals have been discovered including hawks, cats, crocodiles and many others by the archeologists.
- Ancient Egyptians were good at medical sciences. They were good at surgery and dentistry. They discovered and invented many new methods and techniques. Egyptians were the first to sew their wounds.
