Huawei recently outs the Ascend Y300 to battle those cheap entry-level smartphones and their entry-level feel. Introducing the pocket-friendly dual-core Huawei Ascend Y300 with a price tag of justPhp5,490.
The Huawei Ascend Y300 is one of the few entry-level phones in the market to sport Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. It has a 4-inch WVGA display with an IPS Gorilla Glass panel which you don’t often see on devices at this price point.
Powered this handset is a 1.0 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with the usual 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage plus microSD slot combination. It also has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing one.
The Ascend Y300 uses Huawei’s fresh Emotion UI for customizable homescreens which you can easily switch as you want to. It also has a 1730mAh battery and is already available in one color (Black) for Php5,490.
