ios 6 vs. Android jelly bean

Android Jelly Bean Vs Apple iOS 6: Do We     Have a Winner?

For many people, the operating system they use becomes more like a religion. We respect your choice of the OS, but of curiosity, we tested the latest Jelly Bean update (4.1.2) against iOS6. And guess who won. Here’s a point by point comparison of different features.

1. Jelly Bean UI Vs Apple UI

The Android engineers say they have buttered up their touch-screen controls and it seems to have worked. The UI is much more fluid and whatever glitches may have been there in the earlier Android versions are gone. Both systems are head to head and it’s just a matter of which one you are used to.

2.  Siri Vs Google Now

While Apple has upgraded Siri and it now announces game scores and movie listings, it’s still no match for Google Now. Google Now is more advanced and becomes your real personal assistant. It remembers your preferences and searches, reminds you about your calendar appointments and gets you the game scores too. We feel Google Now is a thing of the future.

3. Google Maps Vs Apple Maps

Apple Maps look stunning but don’t give you walking or transit directions. With Google adding 3D and offline maps, Apple may have a lot of work to do on its maps before they can claim parity. For now, Jelly Bean steals this one. Good news: the Google Maps app is now available for iOS.

4. Android Beam Vs Shared Photo Stream

Android Beam allows you to share photos, videos and almost all types of content. If your device supports NFC, you can send stuff from one device to another. With Apple’s Shared Photo Stream, you can just share photos with the people you choose. The Beam is much more flexible and powerful.

5. Google Play Vs Apple’s App Store

Although Google has revamped Google Play and has added books, music TV shows and videos to it, the quality of its apps is still a step behind that of iOS apps. The numbers of Android apps are growing at a dizzying rate, but it will take some time to catch up with the 700,000+ apps available on the Apple’s Store.

So which one would you say wins this battle?(in the comment box)
