- 1 World Trade Center and 2 World Trade Center or Twin Towers remained the highest buildings of the world from 1973 to 1975 until they were surpassed by Willis Towers.
- About 50,000 people used to work in different offices in World Trade Center while 200,000 people used to visit it daily.
- A 68 miles long road can be constructed with the steel which was used in the construction of the buildings.
- 19,600 miles of cable was installed in the buildings for the maintenance of 75,000 telephones.
- The buildings had its own Zip Codes i.e., 10047 & 10048 and the building received mail even after years of its destruction.
- World Trade Center claimed 60 lives during its construction.
- Before its construction, there was a tie between constructing a new tunnel, a bridge over Hudson River and a tall building. So the tall building was chosen by the city.
- World Trade Center was featured in hundreds of film, serials, video games and cartoons while there were about 40 movies which were filmed in the building.
- Fuji Bank, AON, New York Stock Exchange, Port Authority of NY & NJ, and dozens of other companies had their offices in the buildings.
- World Trade Center was destroyed in 2001 terror attacks. Right now, One World Trade Center is under construction on the same location.
