Canon launches 2013 line of PIXMA all-in-one inkjet printers
Early this week we saw Canon PIXMA’s latest line-up of business multifunctional printers. We saw the MX927, MX527, MX457, MX397 and the Ink Efficient E610. These printers allow you to print, copy, scan, and fax, and provides various printing solutions suitable for your home office.

The PIXMA MX927, MX527, and MX457 offers wireless printing which you can also take advantage by printing straight from your smartphones or tablets via Google Cloud Print and Apple Airprint.
All of these new printers use Canon’s FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology to maximize the print quality of an image or text. Its Hybrid System allows black text to be printed using Pigment Blank ink, and photos to be printed using Dye Color inks.

These printers come with the fully-integrated ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), which can automatically print, scan, and copy up to 30 pages in one go. The MX927 can print up to 35 sheets at a time and can also scan/copy both sides of the documents with auto-duplex capability.
There’s also the Ink Efficient PIXMA E610 which allows printing of up to 800 pages per black cartridge and 400 per colored cartridge. Aside from requiring less cartridge replacement, replacing ink on the E610 is more convenient with the FastFront design feature.
The faxing function of these printers are outfitted with an optional feature that asks users to enter the fax number twice to avoid sending of private documents to the wrong recipients. Scanning and creating password-protected PDF documents is also possible with these printers.

The PIXMA MX927 is equipped with advanced features such as Double Front Paper Cassette that lets you load two different sizes of paper at the same time without adjusting the printing properties. It also has a slot that allows you to print directly to discs. It also comes with Auto Duplex Print (also available in the MX527) that lets you print both sides of a page automatically.
New programs are also available in these printers that allow users to easily and spontaneously design and print photographs. An interesting software is the Canon’s Print Your Days that uses on-screen animations to help users assemble photo collages with multiple layout templates and fancy backgrounds.
